Ray Spera has
been responsible for the daily activities across all projects under
construction for PCS for just about 10 years. In this role, Ray brings 20 years
of experience to each project, acting as a commercial construction
superintendent for projects with budgets up to $50 million.
Ray maintains
an in-depth knowledge of all ongoing PCS construction projects and is involved
in weekly construction meetings with owners, architectural teams and
subcontractors. He manages PCS’s manpower, including project superintendents
and all self-performing carpenter and laborer work force crews. He
troubleshoots on an as-needed basis, solving problems facing the construction
owners, architects, project managers and superintendents.
Ray also reviews project schedules, daily reports, RFI’s and overall project safety, as well as monitors subcontractor buy-outs, progress reports, contracts, invoices and overall project quality.
PCS was established in 2009 as a
union carpentry
company.
Our services include rough and finish carpentry, drywall, ceilings, mill work installations, exhibit installations, exterior blocking, and framing and exterior panel systems.
Our team is comprised of a fluctuating crew size of 30 – 50+ carpenters, tapers and laborers in the field. The carpentry team specializes in high end, custom carpentry packages in the cultural, academic, health care, corporate and retail market. PCS has vast experience in both new construction and renovations.
PCS has successfully completed sizable carpentry packages for Shoemaker, TN Ward, Bittenbender Construction, LF Driscoll, Turner Construction, and Wohlsen Construction to name a few.
